We're 17 weeks now. Not a whole lot to report. I'm feeling pretty good, physically. I've gotten my energy back (I'm sure I've mentioned that), and that's been wonderful! The other day (Thursday, I believe it was) was the first time I really felt pregnant, as in, my tummy feels big because it has a baby in it and not because it's bloated due to constipation. It was a good day. Since then, I've been wanting to show it off!

Baby is, apparently, about 5 inches long now, and is starting to hear things (like my rumbling tummy, and my heartbeat) with its now-developed ears. We're really looking forward to getting a glimpse at our ultrasound May 4th!
Still struggling, with much-much-much frustration, over the pants thing. I'm seriously wearing out my favorite "Happy" pants, which are the only pants that fit every part of my lower body, and are comfortable because they have give. Guess I need to bite the bullet and just yank out the sewing machine, and see what I can do. Worth a try.
The picture for this week (we completely missed last week's picture - oops) is different from the ones I typically post. But here's the start of the tummy!
Yay! I have been waiting for an update, lady :o) Maternity pants really are comfy early on... I wish I had saved mine so that I could give them to you. Everyone in my family (brother, sister, dad, jed, me, the boys) have caught viral bronchitis. I have been terrible about emailing (and I am the one that squawks the most about it!) Thank you for posting. How are the sprouts doing? ;o)
